The Borough of Bergenfield offers a No-Knock List to help residents reduce unwanted door-to-door solicitations.
Residents who register their address on the No-Knock List are protected from visits by licensed solicitors and peddlers operating within the Borough. Licensed solicitors and peddlers are required to obtain and comply with the Borough’s No-Knock List and may not solicit at registered addresses.
Please note that political campaigns, candidates, and religious organizations are exempt from the No-Knock List and may still visit registered addresses as permitted by law.
Registration costs $1.00 per address and is valid for three (3) years. After three years, residents must renew their registration to remain on the list.
