Bergenfield to Honor the 25th Anniversary of September 11
Friday, September 11, 2026, at 7:30 PM. The 9/11 Ceremony will be held at Cooper’s Pond.
The Borough of Bergenfield invites all residents and members of our community to join us at Cooper’s Pond on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 7:30 PM. We gather to honor the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 — the day that changed the world.
Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost. The families are forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to protect and save others did so selflessly.
This ceremony will be hosted by the Borough of Bergenfield, in partnership with the Bergenfield Volunteer Fire Department, Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Bergenfield Police Department. The members of our community who continue the tradition of service, courage, and sacrifice remain integral to the event.
As we gather together, we will remember those we lost, honor those who served, and recognize the strength and resilience that brought our nation and our community together in the days that followed.
Twenty-five years may have passed, but we will never forget.
Please join us as a community at Cooper’s Pond for an evening of remembrance. Reflection and gratitude will follow.
September 11, 2001 — We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.
All are welcome.
