The Borough of Bergenfield is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Laborer position in the Department of Public Works.
The DPW is looking for qualified individuals to assist with a variety of duties including building and grounds maintenance, grass cutting, leaf collection, grass and household debris collection, and assisting with snow and ice removal operations such as plowing and shoveling. Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work in inclement weather.
This position requires a flexible schedule Monday through Friday with a maximum of 29 hours per week. The pay rate is $20 per hour and no benefits are offered with this position.
