Bulk pickup for Quadrant 3 (Southeast) is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, as listed on the 2026 Garbage & Recycling Pickup Calendar. Please reference the (B) Bulk Pickup date for your quadrant.
Important Guidelines:
Bulk pickup is residential use only.
Placement: Items may be placed at the curb no earlier than 6:00 PM the night before and must be out by 6:00 AM on pickup day.
Bulk pickup occurs only on scheduled bulk days. No special pickups are available.
Limits Per Bulk Day:
Up to 4 pieces of household furniture
Up to 2 household appliances (AC units, ovens, washers, dryers, refrigerators — refrigerator doors must be removed)
1 carpet or rug (max 12 ft long and/or 1 ft diameter, including pad). Professionally removed carpet will not be collected.
Not Accepted:
Contractor debris or construction materials
Brick, concrete, asphalt, stone, mortar, cultured stone
Chemicals, wet paint, tires, propane/fuel tanks, fire extinguishers
Fluorescent bulbs, TVs, computers, monitors, printers, batteries
Additional Notes:
Items with cords are accepted through electronics recycling at the Bergenfield DPW.
Paint must be dried solid, lid removed, and placed out on bulk days only.
Vegetative waste (leaves, branches, grass, yard waste) is not collected on bulk days.
